| The board of directors of The Gorman-Rupp Co. (AMEX: GRC) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 10.5 cents per share on the common stock of the company, payable September 10, 2010, to shareholders of record August 13, 2010. The move marks the 242nd consecutive dividend paid by Gorman-Rupp. Ohio-based Gorman-Rupp manufactures pumps and pumping systems required for lasting service in the municipal, water, wastewater, sewage, industrial, construction, petroleum, fire and OEM markets. Gorman-Rupp's line of pump products includes self-priming centrifugal pumps, standard centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, trash pumps, priming assisted pumps, and rotary gear pumps. In addition, Gorman-Rupp manufactures a line of packaged lift stations and booster stations that include pumps, motors, controls, piping, accessories and enclosures.
